Brand Strategy

Something special is growing in Bastrop. Just a short ride east of Austin, Adelton is a planned community based on the principles of new urbanism, with tree-lined streets, thoughtful amenities, and a focus on community interaction. Set on 346 acres, Adelton is well-situated near downtown Bastrop and its famous Lost Pines Forest, offering a peaceful combination of small town spirit and natural beauty. We partnered with the Adelton team to create the community brand and share the Adelton story with Central Texas and beyond, through a blend of digital and social media, on-site signage and collateral, video production, event support, and public relations outreach.

Brand Identity

The community name is inspired by the word “Adel” which means “noble.” The name Adelton pays tribute to the honest roots of the land while also nodding to the promising future of the community itself. The brand is bolstered by a welcoming identity, featuring a distinctive and casual monogram, natural color palette, simple typography, and crafted iconographic illustrations.

Website Design

Growing communities need websites that can do the same. So we worked with the Adelton team to design and launch a site that introduced the neighborhood in its earliest phases, with the structure and flexibilty to grow alongside the community in the future. Built for an engaging browse no matter the device, the Adelton site features custom illustrations, graphics, and a welcoming user experience.

Social & Digital Media

As a new and growing community, Adelton has a lot to share. Using the elements from the brand identity toolkit, Adelton’s online graphics were designed to be simple, welcoming, and modular, making it easy to share newsworthy announcements and events on a variety of online platforms.

One of the best ways to showcase the exciting lifestyle of a new community is through the medium of film. So we created a video for Adelton that can be used across multiple media channels, including web, social media, sales centers, presentations, and so much more. This project encompassed a full range of video services, including scripting, on-location production, editing, mixing, and motion graphics.


Public Relations

It’s important to share the news of the community with the community, so our partnership with Adelton includes public relations. Our work in sharing Adelton’s story has earned millions of impressions throughout Texas news outlets such as the Austin American-Statesman, KXAN, MySA, and the Houston Chronicle. In addition, Adelton has been covered in industry-focused publications such as CoStar News, ConnectCRE, and UrbanMatter.
