Project: National spot to air during PGA’s The Memorial Tournament
The project started with a note from our client that read, “How comfortable are you producing a TV spot (and associated digital & social video campaign content) to run nationally on CBS & Golf Channel – 10 days from now?”
Our team at PHC is passionate about all of our client-partner relationships – but, when we get the opportunity to help develop creative solutions and produce content that assists in economic development and promotes our own great state of Ohio, we’re definitely all in! Our long time partnership with JobsOhio has taken us on many different creative journeys, from consistent Ohio-based social & digital content – to longform marketing videos – to dozens of animated presentation video elements that were use to market Ohio on a 100 foot screen in China.
In a 10-12 day timeframe – with almost daily remote video meetings – the JobsOhio and Post House Creative team produced a broadcast, digital and social campaign that introduced Ohio to the viewers of the PGA’s The Memorial Tournament – all over the world. We quickly pulled together a production shoot for some of the elements; additional elements were existing visuals that were captured by PHC and/or other sources. We worked through first cuts, reviews, revisions, daily creative sessions and final approval – all with both of our teams working remotely and adhering to all state and federal COVID safety mandates and recommendations. That, in the end, feels good – just like finishing under par.
Creative Nerd Side Note: The timeframe didn’t allow for us to design and order an actual Ohio puzzle to shoot – so, our team purchased blank white puzzles – painted them various shades of gray/black – and our Senior Mo/Gfx artist created the ‘Ohio’ puzzle at the end digitally. (i.e. It’s not real – at all.)
