Big ideas, bold action.

Leadership Austin’s impact in Central Texas can’t be overstated. An organization with a legacy of developing local leaders who impact the world around them, Leadership Austin was ready to modernize their brand and outreach as they looked to the future. So we partnered with the Leadership Austin team to bring an energetic new graphic approach, paired with a bold messaging campaign, to encapsulate the powerful work that the organization is known for. From a new visual identity, to a flexible and friendly new website, we were thrilled to create a vibrant brand for Leadership Austin to build on and serve the community, long into the future.

A brand with impact.

Connection, meet collaboration. Leadership Austin brings leaders together to grow, communicate, and create change. So we developed a brand mark that embraces these principles. Composed of a series of exclamation marks, all working together and radiating around a common core, the brand embodies the exciting moment where a-ha meets impact. The system is supported by a vibrant color palette and a clean, modern typeface, all ready for what comes next. In addition, we created a series of icons that symbolize the wide variety of Leadership Austin’s educational offerings, built from the foundational graphic elements of the primary brand mark.

A campaign with intention.

With the brand identity in place, we created a campaign messaging concept that grew directly from the core graphic system. Embracing a bold simplicity, we put the core brand exclamation mark to work, creating quick and powerful statements with the mark as the centerpiece. Serving as both an I and an O, the mark bolsters impactful headlines that punctuate themselves, with energetic type offsets and quick, space-friendly, and flexible bursts of copy that are at home overlaid on photography, or standing solidly by themselves.

An online hub of activity.

Leadership Austin is a dynamic organization. And with so many offerings, programs, alumni, and events, it was important to create a new website that made connecting with Leadership Austin a breeze. Using the brand as an inspiration point, we created an organized user framework, design elements, and informational copy and content to allow visitors to be inspired, and find what they’re looking for—fast. From training programs, to single seminars, to directories, to ways to offer support, the site is an easily-maintained hub of exciting and ever-growing resources, opportunities, and events.
